Become a Member
Join us! Embrace your heritage, show your pride, and strengthen our organization by becoming a member of the San Diego Cherokee Community. Membership is determined by annual dues of $15 for one person, or $20 for a household. Members over the age of 18 are entitled to voting rights in the organization. Also included is a subscription to our newsletter, and you may choose to receive your newsletter electronically or via postal mail.
Membership also entitles you special access to programs such as Cherokee language classes that will be available only to the members of San Diego Cherokee Community and other local Cherokee Nation chartered organizations.
Please visit one of our meetings and see what we are about. Check the Events page for time and location.
If you are ready to join you may use the attached form to complete your membership subscription. Bring it with you to our next meeting or mail it to the address provided on the form. Dues are renewed each May 1 and collected upon membership acceptance and will be prorated accordingly.

The San Diego Cherokee Community is a federal tax exempt 501(3) Not For Profit corporation chapter of the Cherokee Nation Community Association Corporation recognized by the IRS as a public charity created to promote and nurture the historic values and culture for Cherokee Citizens living outside the Cherokee Nation boundaries.
